The graph provides information about how the literacy rate increased in Bangladesh between 2005 and 2020 at a 16-year interval. Overall we can see a gradual increase in the literacy rate from 2005 to 2020. According to the chart, the literacy rate was 55% in 2005. In 2009 the rate made up 58%. It means the literacy rate increased 3% by 5 years. The literacy rate increased 2% in 2012: the rate reached 60%. This increasing trend of literacy rate continued. The literacy rate rose to 65% in 2017.
