Sub: Application for staging a drama

Dear Sir,

I, on behalf of the students of class XII, would like to draw your kind attention that we want to stage a drama in our college compound on 16 December at 3:30 pm. The name of the drama is "Ekhattorer Khudiram" which will be performed by our HSC 2nd year college students. This function will not only uphold the heroic struggle of the heroes of the land and instill a sense of patriotism but also improve our creativity. Moreover, as this is the last year of our college life, we want to do something memorable. Our cultural teacher has assured us of any kind of assistance if you permit us to stage the drama.

We, therefore, hope that, considering the above-mentioned situation, you would be kind enough to permit us to stage the drama in the college auditorium and oblige thereby.
