The line chart describes how the household income of a family is spent on different categories namely house rent, food, education, health, clothes, transport, power, savings, and others. Overall, the highest portion of income is spent on house rent and the lowest portion of the salary is consumed on 'others' categories: 20% and 7% respectively.

According to the chart, while the family spends one-fifth of the total income on house rent, it also wastes a significant portion on food items which accounts for 15%. The family's third and fourth highest expenditures are education and health category which make up 13% and 10% respectively. Then comes clothes, transportation, and power. They together consume 27% of the total income. The least amount of wages is spent on savings and others. The family spends 8% and 7% on them respectively. Thus, the chart reflects reasonable expenditure of the family's income on various items.
