failure is the pillar of success story

You might have heard the name Robert Bruce, the king of the Scots. He was considered a national hero because of his patriotism, bravery, and firm determination. His army was invaded and defeated several times. To save his life he had to flee and hide in a cave. Surely, he had to be very disappointed to be defeated frequently.

One day, while lying in the cave, he noticed a spider trying to reach the cave's ceiling. However, it was failing to reach there repeatedly, but it didn't stop its effort. Finally, in its seventh effort, it successfully reached its destination. The determination of the simple spider boosted Bruce mentally to a great extent.

"I think it is the greatest lesson the ordinary spider has taught me", he said to himself. "I should not yield and spend my time sleeping and hiding; I should bring all my effort, military strategy, and experience into operation."

Then, He called in his army men to join him again and fought against the enemy with heart and soul. He made his men understand their roles in the war and boosted them highly with his inspirational words before entering the battlefield. They fought bravely, and relentlessly bringing their past experience to defeat the mighty English army. This time his men became able to overthrow their enemy and freed their motherland.
