Story in Words
Nasima was a little nervous as she entered her new school for the first time. Her family had just moved to a new city, and she didn’t know anyone yet. She walked down the hall, carrying her backpack and trying to find her classroom.
When she arrived, she took a seat at the back of the room and looked around. Everyone seemed to already know each other, laughing and talking. Nasima felt a bit lonely, wondering if anyone would want to be her friend.
During lunch, Nasima sat by herself, quietly eating her sandwich. Just then, a girl with a bright smile walked up to her. “Hi! I’m Sabrina,” the girl said. “Would you like to sit with us?” Nasima’s face brightened, and she quickly joined Sabrina and her friends. They asked her about her old school, her favorite hobbies, and what she liked to do for fun.
By the end of the day, Nasima felt much happier. Sabrina introduced her to other classmates, and they invited her to play at the park after school. Nasima smiled, knowing she had made a new friend. She was excited to come back to school the next day and spend more time with her new friends.
Sometimes, a small act of kindness can make all the difference.
