Assessment Guidelines
To excel in the Listening Assessment, students must demonstrate:
- Accuracy (5 points): Ability to correctly capture and reproduce key information without errors.
- Detail Retention (5 points): Retention of specific details, such as dates, names, and numbers, mentioned in the audio.
- Inference (5 points): Capacity to interpret implied meanings, emotions, or context beyond the literal words.
- Engagement (5 points): Active listening reflected through body language, focus, and minimal distractions.
- 4-5 points: Excellent understanding with minor to no mistakes.
- 2-3 points: Moderate understanding with some gaps or errors.
- 0-1 points: Limited understanding, frequent errors, or lack of focus.
